Basal Rosette.
Wavy toothed leaves.
The yellow florets are markedly longer than the purple tipped bracts.
Stems are solid – (unlike dandelion which has a hollow stem. They are also a lot taller than dandelions and often lean over)
The stems are leafless – leaves replaced with small scales – triangular and dark-tipped.
