Perennial.

Flower heads 25-40mm across.
Basal Rosette.

Wavy toothed leaves.

The yellow florets are markedly longer than the purple tipped bracts.

Stems are solid Р(unlike dandelion which has a hollow stem.  They are also a lot taller than dandelions and often lean over)

The stems are leafless Рleaves replaced with small scales Рtriangular and dark-tipped.
